Chicago defensive tackle Bruce Gaston Jr. had planned to attend Iowa's one-day camp on Saturday in hopes of earning a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes. Instead, a minor injury kept him off the field, but the 6-foot-2, 290-pound Gaston left town with an offer in hand anyway.

The offer from Iowa pushes Gaston's total into double digits as the Hawkeyes join Illinois, Michigan State, Purdue, Minnesota, Indiana, Wyoming, and several MAC schools on his list. The defensive tackle, who plans to visit Notre Dame and Illinois next week, says he wants to wait until the fall to make his decision.
