  • Damion Terry:

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound signal-caller was evaluated at his high school by the Spartan staff and then decided to make his decision to become a member of the Green and White. Michigan State was the first school to offer Terry a scholarship back in February.

"Yes, I committed to Michigan State," Terry said. "I spoke with the coaches and they were fired up. The coaches have said they like the fact that I am a mobile quarterback with a strong arm and I am accurate. I also had scholarship offers from Boston College, Illinois and Duke."

Terry visited Michigan State twice the past few weeks and came away very impressed with what he saw in East Lansing.

"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and knew it was teh right place for me the first time I was there. Michigan State has good academics and I like the other recruits that are going there."

Terry indicated that his family is very excited about his decision and he hope so be back on campus with them on teh 28th for the Green and White Game. Terry talked abut the typo of player the Spartans are getting.

"Michigan State is getting a dual-threat quarterback that is very exciting and will continue the winning tradition."

  • Shane Jones:

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Jones is one of the most sought after linebacker recruits in the nation for the class of 2013. Rivals.com ranks him a 4-star recruit and he held over 20 scholarship offers from programs like Oklahoma, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State and Texas A&M.

Jones had the following to say about his decision to SpartanMag.com.

"Yes, I committed to Michigan State. It is a great feeling to day and I am happy to be a Spartan."

Michigan State has had tremendous success at Moeller High School and players from there have had just as much success in East Lansing. Linebacker Greg Jones was a consensus All-American at Michigan State. Defensive end Marcus Rush was Freshmen All-American last fall. SpartanMag.com has predicted that 2012 signee Monty Madaris could make an early impact in East Lansing.

Jones joins fellow 4-star linebacker Jon Reschke on the Spartans commitment list. The two of them give the Spartans on of the best duos in the Big Ten thus far.

Jones talked about the type of player the Spartana are getting.

"I can cover the pass and also come up and stop the run. Spartan fans can expect to see some very physical games and plenty of wins while I am there."

Like Terry, Jones is hoping to get back on campus on the 28th of April so he can spend some time with his future teammates.
