Delsoin drawing more interest
Massive offensive tackle David Delsoin of Sheridan Hills High School plans to take in the FIU game against Toledo this Saturday evening. The 6 foot 6, 275-pound Delsoin still sits with offers from Troy and FIU, but he has been hearing from a few new schools.
"FAU has been contacting me a lot lately, they are really starting to recruit me hard," said Delsoin. "Kentucky and Illinois have stopped by the school in the last couple weeks. Coach Whipple of Miami told me he wants to see my first three game films."
What have the coaches been telling you?
"Kentucky wants me to send them some more film and to let them know when I finish the online classes I am taking. Illinois said they liked my size and mobility. Their coach was going to call me, but I have not heard from since he came by the school."
Have you visited in colleges this fall?
"I haven't set up any official visits, but I am going to FIU's game Saturday."
Delsoin physically looks the part of a college offensive lineman right now. He is a little raw and plays against very weak competition; however with proper coaching he may be a big time prospect.
