It's Michigan for Isaac

Class of 2013 Joliet (Ill.) Catholic Academy and former USC running back Ty Isaac (6-foot-3, 225 pounds) has made his transfer decision and will head to Michigan and play for head coach Brady Hoke and the Wolverines. Isaac talks about his decision here.

"I decided that I'm going to transfer to Michigan," Isaac said moments ago. "I had a good visit there and it's just the place where I feel the most comfortable. I didn't want to drag all of this out and see a ton of schools. Michigan was in my final three when I committed to USC and the reasons I liked Michigan are still very much in place."

Isaac talked about why he decided on the Wolverines.

"I just always felt that Michigan was one of the schools I wanted to look into once all of this started happening. They have all of the same coaches except one since I was recruited by them. They have a great staff, a great tradition and I also feel like I will be a good fit. The offense is a good system for me and I feel that I can come in and compete right away."

Isaac also ended his re-recruiting process after making recent on campus visits to Illinois and finally Michigan.

"I just didn't want to make a big deal out of it to be honest. I knew the few schools I wanted to look into and then visited those schools. The internet and everyone talked about this school or that school but it was really just down to a few schools. I'm happy and ready to move forward."

Isaac, a five star ranked recruit from the Class of 2013 will now plan on heading to Ann Arbor, yet exactly when Isaac will hit the field remains to be seen.

"I need to enroll and then go through the hardship process with the NCAA. I'm hoping to be able to be eligible right away but wither way I'm just excited about Michigan."
