Did you know....Hall of Fame head coach Bill Mitz has led Jacobs to the state playoff field in seven of his eight season in charge of the Golden Eagles program. Mitz also led Stevenson to 22 state playoff appearances in his 28 years while at Stevenson.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2018 Jacobs Golden Eagles? Jacobs and head coach Bill Mitz is always in the hunt in both the Fox Valley Conference race along with Class 7A. The Golden Eagles will welcome back some real key starters for the 2018 season in what seems to be an always tight FVC conference chase. Jacobs will be one of at least 4 FVC teams with a real shot at winning the conference in 2018.
Keep an Eye on: Jacobs senior OT Joey Price (6-foot-8, 320 pounds) has been drawing scholarship offers and attention on nearly a national level. Price, who played his first year of organized football in 2017 has the raw tools and ability to become a Power 5 offensive tackle.
