A flurry of offers for Babicz
Barrington (Ill.) senior wide receiver recruit Josh Babicz (6-foot-5, 205 pounds) was able to add five new scholarship offers over the past two days. Babicz, who also wrapped up his junior tear of high school on Thursday talks about his sudden flurry of offers and more here.
"It's been pretty wild over the past few days," Babicz said. "I added five new offers and it's pretty awesome."
Babicz filled us in on his latest offers.
"I added offers from Wyoming, South Dakota, Missouri State, South Dakota State and also North Dakota State. Most of the offers came as a surprise. Wyoming was in school a few weeks ago and I really didn't have much contact with them until now. I'd say that North Dakota State offer was the one that wasn't a huge surprise. NDSU has been recruiting me for a long time now and I just had a feeling that an offer was coming."
Babicz will now go back and look harder at all five new offers.
"I still need to go back now and look into each school that offered me. It's all come at once and now that the school year is completed I have time to go and look into each school."
Babicz is also getting ready for his summer college one day camps.
"I'm going to camp at the Northwestern Showcase, the Illinois satellite camp here in Barrington and also a Michigan State camp. I might also add a few more camps soon."
