A new name emerges

Lombard (Ill.) Glenbard East junior offensive tackle recruit Chris Ryan (6-foot-7, 245 pounds) added his first offer last week from Air Force. Ryan, who has been focusing on the weight room this summer talks about his first offer from the Falcons and much more here.
"Air Force offered me on Saturday," Ryan said. "It's just very exciting to get my first offer from Air Force."

Ryan, who also plays basketball for the Rams talked about adding his first offer from the Falcons.
"I know that Air Force offers an Ivy League level education and the opportunities that Air Force offers is impressive. I also know that you become an officer in the Air Force after your done with school. Air Force plays in a good conference and I like the entire discipline aspect with the service academies offer. I'm pretty open and I'll try to visit Air Force sometime this summer."
Ryan also talked about who's been showing him recruiting interest this summer.
"I've been to NIU for a junior day visit a few months ago. I also have been in touch with Harvard, Darthmouth, Penn plus Grand Valley State and several of the Pioneer conference schools like Butler, Drake and several others. Academics are important to me and my family and will be a big part of my college decision."
Ryan also talked about his remaining summer camp plans.
"I plan to camp with Illinois this Saturday at Maine South. I also plan to camp at Northwestern for the showcase camp later this month."
Chris Ryan has a scholarship offer from Air Force.
