A new start for Kelly-Martin

Oswego (Ill.) East junior three star ranked running back recruit Ivory Kelly-Martin (5-foot-11, 195 pounds) has indeed transferred from Nazareth Academy to Oswego East and Kelly-Martin has been adjusting to his new school over the past few weeks. Kelly-Martin talks about his transfer along with his latest recruiting news here.

"It's been a pretty good adjustment for me so far at my new school (Oswego East)," Kelly-Martin said. "I've played with a lot of these guys since grade school so I already know a lot of kids in the school already. I'd say the biggest adjustment so far has been just getting used to the size of my school compared to Nazareth, but overall it's been going pretty well."

Ivory-Martin also filled us in on his latest recruiting news.

"Recruiting has been going good. I've been getting mail and staying in touch with Toledo, NIU, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana State, Buffalo, Western Michigan and Penn State. Louisville has also picked things up and they have been staying in touch a bit more."

Look for Kelly-Martin to hit the road starting this weekend.

"Most of the college coaches have invited me to come see them or come and take part in Junior Day events. I'm heading down to Miami of Ohio on Saturday and then to Illinois on Sunday. I'm also set to visit Louisville on February 2nd. I'm also looking into visiting both Michigan State and Iowa State sometime later this winter."

In the meantime, Kelly-Martin keeps working on improving his game this winter.

"I'm just working hard on my overall game these days. I'm focused on improving my overall speed and strength and just getting better in everything."

Ivory Kelly-Martin has scholarship offers from Illinois State, Indiana State, Miami of Ohio, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.
