ONeal talked about his latest visit and offer from NIU.
"I really liked it at NIU. They have a good group of coaches and I also liked the facilities at NIU. The new indoor facility is pretty nice and they also have good locker rooms and a good weight room. NIU and most schools are recruiting me as a safety. I can play either offense or defense and if I had my choice I'd play defense. I feel petty comfortable anywhere on the field but safety seems to be my best spot. Saturday was my first visit to NIU and I left pretty impressed with them."
ONeal also visited Ball State a few weeks ago.
"I visited Ball State a few weeks back and the coaches really impressed me. I was able to sit and talk with the coaches and get to know them better. Ball State was also my first offer and you always remember that first one. I also liked the campus and the facilities at Ball State. I was also impressed with the focus Ball State places on academics. Ball State offers great academics support for athletes."
So who else is looking at Oneal these days?
"Illinois made an in school visit last week. Wisconsin also has been in school and I know that NIU. Ball State and a few others will be here soon."
Corde ONeal has scholarship offers from Ball State, NIU and New Mexico.
