ATH Reed is off and running

Aurora (IL) Metea Valley junior athlete recruit Jayden Reed (5-foot-11, 160 pounds) had added four Mid American Conference offers so far this winter. Reed, who can play several spots on the field checks in and talks recruiting and more here.

"It's been a busy winter for me between Boom and also my recruiting," Reed said. "I have four offers and I'm also in touch with some other colleges. It's exciting."

Reed broke down his latest offers and recent visits..

"I have offers so far from Miami of Ohio, Central Michigan, Toledo and Western Michigan. I'm also in touch with the coaches from Illinois and also North Dakota State. Minnesota also was in school back in December. I've been able to visit both Miami of Ohio and Central Michigan so far and those visits went really well."

Does Reed have any other visits planned?

"I'm planning to visit Western Michigan for a Junior Day on March 18th. I'm also going to get out to Toledo sometime later this spring."

Reed has also been drawing recruiting interest and offers at more than one position.

"Some schools like me as a defensive back and others like me as both a receiver and defensive back. Miami of Ohio and Western Michigan offered me as a defensive back and Central Michigan said they like me at both spots. I really don't care which spot to be honest. I'm just a playmaker and I'll make plays on either side of the football."
