Branch makes a decision
Lombard (Ill.) Montini Catholic junior offensive guard recruit Grant Branch (6-foot-2, 267 pounds) made his college choice after making an official visit back in December. Branch talks about his decision here.
"I gave Eastern Illinois my verbal commitment," Branch said. "I made an official visit to Eastern Illinois late in December and I had a great visit so I committed a few weeks ago."

Branch talked about why he pledged to the EIU Panthers.
"I went down there on my visit and I just really liked it at EIU. I like the coaches down there and it just felt like a great fit. EIU just has a great bunch of guys and I feel like I'm a good fit."
Branch, who was recruited by the EIU Panthers as an interior offensive linemen recruit had also been drawing looks from a few schools before his decision.
"Both North Dakota State and NIU have been showing more interest and they still stay in touch from time to time. I'm very happy and committed to Eastern Illinois."
Grant Branch is verbally committed to Eastern Illinois.
