Dixon adds a Bearcats offer

Wilmette (IL) Loyola Academy junior outside linebacker/defensive end recruit Armoni Dixon (6-foot-3, 218 pounds) has drawn plenty of recruiting attention so far this spring. Dixon was able to add his latest offer from the University of Cincinnati on Wednesday and discusses his latest recruiting news here.

"Recruiting has been going pretty well," Dixon said. "I added an offer today (Wednesday) from Cincinnati and we've also been seeing a lot of college coaches in school."

Dixon discussed adding his latest offer from the Cincinnati Bearcats.

"I know that Cincinnati plays in the AAC and that it's a good school and a good football program. The coach from Cincinnati made an in school visit and watched one of my workouts. They are recruiting me as more of a Jack linebacker which is more of a hybrid between a defensive rush and and an outside linebacker. A lot of schools are recruiting me for either position so it's good with me."

Dixon also filled us in on his recent in school visitors.

"Besides Cincinnati we've seen the coaches from Michigan State, Michigan, Missouri and Iowa. Missouri and Iowa. The coaches from Missouri and Iowa want me to camp with them this summer."

Does Dixon have any summer camp plans?

"I'm going to the Lindenwood Megacamp for sure and I might add a few more camps soon."

Has Dixon started to look harder at his college options and offers these days?

"Not really. I just haven't really sat down and broken it all down just yet. I'm going to wait until the end of spring recruiting and then I'll look harder at everything."

Armoni Dixon has multiple scholarship offers.
