DL Coe is looking ahead

Homewood (Ill.) Flossmoor junior three star ranked defensive tackle recruit Isaiah Coe (6-foot-3, 270 pounds) has two early scholarship offers along with drawing more recruiting attention this spring. Coe checks in and talks recruiting and more in this update.

"I have offers now from Miami of Ohio and South Dakota," Coe said. "I know that we are also expecting to see a lot of college coaches in our school starting this week."

Coe has been in touch with a handful of new schools this spring.

"Besides staying in touch with Miami and South Dakota, I've been talking with the coaches from West Virginia, Kentucky and Western Kentucky. West Virginia invited me out to the spring game but I couldn't make it. I also heard that they ended up cancelled it because of bad weather. I don't have any other visits planned for now."

Coe is also working hard and gearing up for a busy spring and summer filled with camps.

"I was invited to the Under Armour camp along with the Rivals Three Stripe camp and I'm planning to go to both of those camps this spring. I'm also looking at where I want to camp with this summer. I went to the Michigan camp last year and I'll probably camp with them again. I'm also planning on camping with Miami of Ohio, NIU and maybe Alabama this summer."

Coe has continued to make progress in his game this spring.

"I've been working hard and making real progress this spring. I'm improving my overall speed and agility. I've also worked hard on my pass rushing skills and I can't wait to get back out there and compete. I just feel like I've made some real progress in my game this off season."
