DL Keenan checks in

Crystal Lake (IL) Central junior defensive end prospect Cade Keenan (6-foot-3, 250 pounds) has been drawing steady recruiting interest this winter. Keenan checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news here.

"I've been staying in touch with several coaches," Keenan said. "I've been able to visit Central Michigan twice and I'm also planning to make more college visits soon."

Keenan recapped his latest recruiting news.

"I've been talking to North Dakota State quite a bit. I'm going to make a visit to NDSU either on April 14th or April 22nd. I also stay in touch with NIU, Bowling Green, Wyoming, Central Michigan plus SIU and a few other smaller level colleges."

Keenan also recapped his most recent visit to Central Michigan.

"I've been to Central Michigan twice and I just really like Central Michigan and Mount Pleasant. I like the coaches at Central Michigan snd they just seem like good people. Central Michigan also has a good mix of football and academics. CMU has offers out already but that they are still pretty interested in me ."

Keenan is also expecting several college coaches to stop into his school during the upcoming spring evaluation period.

"A lot of the college coaches have said that they will be in school this spring to watch me workout. Some coaches feel I can play defensive end and others feel I can add more weight and play inside. I just try to be as versatile as I can and I'll play anywhere the coaches want me to play."

Keenan also is looking forward to his upcoming senior season.

"We had a very young and pretty inexperienced team last season. This year we bring back a lot of kids with a lot of experience and I think that will make a big difference. Everyone is working hard and is pretty focused on the team and having a good year."
