DT Lee checks in

LaGrange Park (IL) Nazareth Academy senior defensive tackle recruit Isaiah Lee (6-foot-2, 280 pounds) has been hitting a number of college one day camps this summer all to positive reviews. lee checks in and recaps his summer travels and more in this recruiting update.

"I have nine offers now," Lee said. "I've also been hitting as many college camps as I can so far this summer. Right now I'm really focused on my team and people better look out for us this season."

Lee filled us in on his recent college camp travels.

"I've been everywhere this summer and I'm almost starting to lose track of all the camps. I camped at Wisconsin, North Central College satellite camp in front of Wisconsin, Missouri and a bunch of other schools. I also went to the Lake Forest College satellite camp, Purdue, Indiana, Ball State, Ohio State and also Notre Dame. The feedback was really strong from the coaches at each camp. The coaches all love watching me in one on ones and tell me how great I do. At the end of each camp they tell me to stay in touch with them and that a lot of the bigger schools still want to see my senior tape. It can get frustrating man. I just go into the camps, do work and I go against anyone they want me to go against."

So what's next for Lee this summer?

"I'm pretty sure I'm done with the college camps. I'm just going to go back and work with my team and get ready for the season. I'm just getting ready now to come out and have a big senior year. I definitely plan to give all of those college coaches a lot of good things to see."

Lee is also in no hurry to make a college decision for now.

"I really want to see how things play out for now. I have some good offers and I know that some of those could go away and other kids could commit. I just feel like I want to give some of these other schools a chance. I could commit tomorrow but for now I'm still just open."

Isaiah Lee has scholarship offers from Colorado State, Western Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana State, North Dakota State, Central Michigan, South Dakota State, Ball State and Fordham.
