Day filled us in on his first visit to Eastern Michigan.

"I just really liked it at Eastern Michigan. I just liked the overall atmosphere in and around the football team. The coaches at EMU are great guys and you can tell that they are starting to turn the program around. Eastern Michigan also has a great business school and I plan to major in Business. Eastern Michigan is recruiting me as an offensive tackle recruit."

Day has also begun to see his recruiting pick up over the past month or so.

"It seems like more and more schools are starting to take notice of me. Besides Eastern Michigan I've also been starting to hear from Bowling Green. Colgate is another school that has been in touch and they said they will be in school soon. We are expecting a lot of college coaches to be in school soon according to my coaches at Batavia."

Day will focus for now on school and the upcoming spring evaluation period.

"I don't have any visits planned for now. I'm just going to focus on the spring evaluation period and try to just keep woprkiong hard and getting ready for the summer then the season."
