Garland filled us in on his first impressions from his Michigan weekend trip.
"Michigan just showed me a lot of love. The coaches and everyone made me feel like I was already holding an offer from them. I was able to talk to the coaches and they also had some of the alumni back like Rod Woodson and Desmond Howard so it was a great time to be around the school. I spent a lot of time talking to my recruiting coach Kurt Mallory. We hung out for about an hour and he told me that he liked my tape and that they want to see me camp with them this summer. They want to see how I work in person. I also was able to check out the Big House (Michigan Stadium) and just walking down the tunnel into the stadium was an amazing feeling. Michigan has great fan support and overall it was just a very impressive place."
Garland also talked about his latest offer from the UConn Huskies.
"I had been in contact with the UConn coaches on Facebook and we exchanged a few messages. They asked me to call and that's when they offered me. I still don't knew too much about UConn and I need to do some research. I know UConn more from the basketball side and I've heard some great things about the school. I'll definitely look into them more and it's a good offer."
Garland also has a handful of visits coming up.
"I'm heading to Western Michigan on April 11th. I'm also set to visit Miami of Ohio on April 19th. I want to get out to Michigan State and I'm still waiting on setting a date for that visit."
Aaron Garland has scholarship offers from Buffalo, Central Michigan, UConn, Nevada, NIU, Toledo and Western Michigan.
