Jarvis impressed with Razorbacks

Park Ridge (Ill.) Maine South junior four star ranked offensive guard recruit Kevin Jarvis (6-foot-5, 315 pounds) has eight offers and counting so far this winter. Jarvis talks about his latest recruiting news and his quick connection to Arkansas here.

"It's been pretty quiet since the college coaches are off the road now," Jarvis said. "I have some really good offers and I'm trying to stay in touch with all of those schools along with a few others."

One school that Jarvis has already started to bond with is Arkansas and the Razorbacks new offensive line coach Kurt Anderson.

"Coach Anderson and I have been getting along really well right away. He grew up out here and went to Glenbrook South so he's one of the guys who knows this area and knows this state. We just get along really well and bonded right away. Arkansas offered me on Signing Day which was really cool. Coach Anderson and I have been in touch pretty regularly ever since they offered."

Jarvis is also hoping to make some college visits soon.

"I plan to get out to go visit some school soon. It's been hard to get out for now but I'm hoping to go see some schools as soon as we can figure out the schedule."

Has anyone new started to reach out to Jarvis.

"Miami (Fla.). They have been sending me more mail and they also have reached out on Twitter "

Kevin Jarvis has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Central Michigan, Illinois, Iowa State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee and Toledo.
