LB Hogans adds two MVC offers
Palatine (IL) junior outside linebacker recruit Cortez Hogans (6-foot-3, 190 pounds) has added two quick recent offers from both North Dakota State and Southern Illinois over the past week. Hogans recaps his latest offer and much more here.
"I have offers now from North Dakota State and also SIU," Hogans said. "SIU just offered me earlier tonight (Tuesday) and NDSU offered me a few days earlier. It's pretty exciting."
Hogans talked about his initial impressions of the NDSU Bison and the SIU Salukis.
"I was able to meet one of the coaches at NDSU in school back late last year. I know that NDSU is a really good program that is a power program at the FCS level. SIU contacted me thru Twitter and I called the coaches back and they offered me. I know that SIU is in state and is closer to home. I need to do more research on both schools but it's exciting to have offers from both schools."
Hogans also has been drawing more recruiting interest this winter.
"Besides NDSU and SIU I've been hearing from Wyoming, Central Michigan, NIU and Drake along with a few D2 schools like Minnesota-Moorhead. I'm going to get out to visit some schools over my spring break. I'm considering visiting North Dakota State along with Minnesota Moorhead. I'm also planning to visit Drake in April ."
In the meantime Hogans is working hard and getting ready for his eventual 2017 senior season.
"We have a lot of good players coming back for next season. Everyone is working hard this winter and everyone is also excited for the season to get here."
Cortez Hogans has scholarship offers from North Dakota State and Southern Illinois University.
