LB Vandenburgh draws interest

"My recruiting has definitely started to speed up lately," Vandenburgh said. "It's just exciting to start to see more coaches in school. I've also been getting texts and Twitter messages from more and more coaches this spring."
Vandenburgh, who carries an impressive 4.0 GPA updated us on his latest recruiting news.
"Illinois State, Western Michigan and Northwestern have all made in school visits so far. NIU and Wyoming is also planning to be in school soon. Western Illinois and North Dakota State have been in touch with me on Twitter. All of those school want me to come and camp with them this summer. They also want me to stay in touch."
Vandenburgh is also planning to be busy this coming summer.
"I have a lot of camp plans set. I'm planning to camp for sure at Northwestern. I'm also looking to camp at Western Illinois, Northern Illinois, North Dakota State and also Western Michigan. I might add a few more camp dates once we get closer towards the end of the spring evaluation period."
Vandenburgh is also considering taking a summer trip out towards the East Coast.
"I've been getting a lot of interest from several Ivy League schools. I would say that I get the most contact and interest from both Harvard and Yale. I'm also very interested in the Ivy League and I'm pretty sure we will head out to see them in person this summer."
