Lees, who was drawing more and more recruiting looks this late winter discussed why he pledged to the Miami of Ohio Redhawks.
"The school is awesome and I just feel that I fit in well with the players and the coaches. I feel that I found the right fit in Miami. I just didn't need to wait around any longer to make my decision. My family loved it at Miami and so did I so why wait to decide?"
Another factor in Lees decision was the coaching at Miami of Ohio.
"I just love the coaches at Miami. Head coach Chuck Martin along with all of the coaches are building something special at Miami and I wanted to be a part of the program."
Lees, who plays quarterback for the Wildcats also talked about his eventual position for the Redhawks.
"It depends. I could end up playing quarterback if they need me at quarterback or they might also need me at say receiver. I was offered and recruited as an athlete by Miami along with several other schools and I'm very comfortable going in as an athlete recruit."
So what other schools did Lees consider before making his decision this afternoon?
"I considered Western Michigan quite a bit."
