Love checked out Miami of Ohio

LaGrange Park (Ill.) Nazareth Academy junior wide receiver prospect Michael Love (5-foot-10, 160 pounds) has remained busy this winter after coming off an All Area caliber season for the Road Runners and head coach Tim Racki. Love checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news.

"I've been staying busy this winter," Love said. "I'm playing 7on7 for Boom plus I'm also in the weight room lifting and also training."

Love recapped his latest recruiting news.

"I've been in touch with the coaches from Miami of Ohio, NIU and Ball State. I was able to visit Miami of Ohio for a junior day and I'm planning to make more visits later this winter. Most of the feedback from the college coaches has been positive. They all said I'm high on their recruiting list and that they all want to see me visit them before the offer any scholarships."

Love, who is the younger of standout Notre Dame defensive back Julian Love discusses his recent visit to Miami of Ohio.

"It was a great first visit for me. I walked and talked with the receivers coach for most of the time. The thing that stood out about Miami of Ohio was how straight forward the coaches are and that they didn't b.s. anything. Overall it was a very good visit."

Does Love have any other visits planned?

"I'm also planning to go to the Ball State junior day this Sunday."

In the meantime Love will continue to stay focused on improving his overall game.

"I'm just focused on training mostly and lifting a lot. I want to put on some muscle."
