Moore is focused on four schools

Chicago (IL) Perspectives senior three star ranked defensive end recruit Dominic Moore (6-foot-7, 287 pounds) remains one of the biggest uncommitted names in the Land of Lincoln's Class of 2019. Moore checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news here.

"The latest school to reach out to me has been Ball State," Moore said. "I've also been just focused hard on finishing this semester strong in the class room. I'm excited to end the semester with strong grades in all of my classes and once the semester is over I'l refocus more on my recruiting process."

Moore has been focused on four main schools this winter.

"I'm still looking hard at Wyoming, Central Michigan, New Mexico and Illinois. I'm still talking to the coaches from those schools each week. I haven't set up any official visit dates just yet but I'm going to take all of my visits in January."

Moore did have one December official visit planned but has cancelled that visit.

"I was going to make an official visit to New Mexico originally this week but my Mom and I decided that it would be best if I just stayed at home and focused all of my attention on my school work and my grades. The coaches from New Mexico understand and I'll reschedule that visit sometime next month."

So what will Moree be looking for in a potential school once he hits the official visit road in January?

"I'm looking for a program that wants me as much as I want them. I'm also looking for a good fit on and off the field along with a school that offers my major (communications/broadcasting). I'm a very loyal guy and loyalty is a big one for me and I'm looking to play for a great coaching staff. I'm looking for coaches who want to have fun but also know when to get serious and get to work. I guess I would say I'm just looking for a school that offers a great overall atmosphere."

Dominic Moore has scholarship offers from Wyoming, Illinois, Central Michigan and New Mexico.
