Mallory recaps Michigan State visit

Bolingbrook (Ill.) junior three star ranked defensive tackle Dashaun Mallory (6-foot-3, 265 pounds) has continued to draw steady recruiting looks and in some cases scholarship offers. Mallory takes a few minutes to talk recruiting and more here.

"I was able to add offers recently from Eastern Michigan and Wyoming," Mallory said. "Both offers came out of nowhere to be honest. They are both great schools and it's a blessing."

Mallory has also been in touch with several Power 5 schools and made a recent visit to Michigan State.

"I was able to visit Michigan State a few weeks ago and it was awesome. I really enjoyed myself at Michigan State and it was an amazing experience. I was able to learn more technique from the coaches at Michigan State and the football program just brings a ton of enthusiasm and attitude. Michigan State talks about family a lot and they mean it. The coaches at Michigan State said they love my game and want to get me back on campus. They want me to keep working hard and also stay in touch."

So who else has been showing interest in Mallory?

"Lately Arkansas, Penn State, Michigan, Louisville and Kansas State plus North Dakota State and Western Michigan have all reached out lately. All of those schools have invited me to come and visit them this spring. "

Does Mallory have any additional visits planned?

"I would love to visit all of them but it's hard to get out to see them all. I'm planning to visit Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Michigan and Michigan State later this spring."

Dashawn Mallory has scholarship offers from Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Iowa State, NIU, Toledo and Wyoming.
