New offer in for WR Marchese

Lincolnshire (Ill.) Stevenson senior wide receiver recruit Henry Marchese (6-foot-3, 185 pounds) was able to add a late offer from Central Michigan on Tuesday. Marchese checks in and discusses his latest offer and recruiting news here.

"Central Michigan offered me tonight (Tuesday)," Marchese said. "The CMU coaches have been in touch with me for a while now and they kept telling me to hang in there for an offer. It's exciting to add an offer from CMU and they want me to come visit them soon."

Marchese ran down his latest recruiting news.

"Illinois has remained in touch and they feel I could come in and have a chance to compete for playing time right away. I have a good relationship with the Illinois coaches and they want me to come and make an official visit on January 27th. Iowa has also been in touch and the Iowa coaches said they will be back in school as soon as they can. The Iowa coaches have also been talking about me making an official visit soon. Penn State also is still interested. I talk with my recruiting coach (Ricky Rahne) weekly and Penn State has offers out for now but still want me to stay in touch. Indiana and Minnesota are also interested but I'm not sure on either school right now since they have both made some coaching changes."

Marchese is now in the process of sorting out which schools are truly interested and which schools he will visit.

"I'm just trying to figure out when and how I'm going to sort all of this out and then who and when I'll make some official visits. I'm hoping to have a better idea on things over the next week or so once the dead period is over."

Henry Marchese has scholarship offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Army.
