Witt filled us in on his decision to pledge to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
"The official visit to Western Kentucky was the difference. I just really liked it a lot and it was a great visit. The school and the surrounding area felt like home to me. It's a pretty similar environment to this area that has just a lot of good people. Everyone made me feel welcomed including the players and the coaches. I just felt like I fit in well on the official visit and knew I found a school to call home."
Witt also pointed towards academics as another factor in his college choice.
"I was able to learn more about the engineering program and it's a very solid program. I wanted to make sure that the engineering program fit my needs and I know that I will also earn a solid degree at WKU. I also was impressed with the facilities and really everything they have to offer at Western Kentucky."
Witt had another official visit planned for this coming weekend but that is now off the table.
"I was set to go visit Columbia this weekend but that's cancelled now. I'm one hundred percent committed to Western Kentucky."
Tyler Witt is verbally committed to Western Kentucky.
