OL Woodard adds a Cowboys offer
Tuscola (Ill.) junior offensive tackle recruit Hunter Woodard (6-foot-5, 295 pounds) was able to pick up his fifth overall offer from Oklahoma State after making a recent on campus unofficial visit. Woodard discusses his latest offer and recruiting news here.
"Oklahoma State offered me," Woodard said. "I made a visit last week and they offered me a scholarship when I was on the visit. I was hoping they would offer me and I had been in touch with the coaches at Oklahoma State coaches for about a month."
Woodard, who also took part in The Opening regional camps in Lake Forest on Sunday discussed his recent visit to Oklahoma State.
"Oklahoma State was just an amazing place and I had a great visit. I was able to get to talk to the coaches at Oklahoma State and it was just very exciting to pick up an offer. Oklahoma State is well equipped and they just have amazing facilities and really the best of everything. It's just very exciting to add an offer from Oklahoma State and I'll definitely look hard at Oklahoma State."
Woodard also recapped his latest recruiting news and suitors.
"Besides Oklahoma State I have offers from Illinois State, Eastern Illinois, Miami of Ohio and Ball State. I'm planning to go visit Arkansas sometime soon and I've also stayed in touch quite a bit with Illinois as well. I visited Iowa last fall for a game and I've made visits to Illinois, Oklahoma State and Miami of Ohio.
Woodard also discussed his impressions from The Opening regional camp on Sunday.
"The Opening was the best camp experience I've had so far and it was awesome. It was my first real camp experience and it was cool going up against some of the best guys in the Midwest. I messed up a few early reps but then I got more comfortable."
Hunter Woodard has scholarship offers from Oklahoma State, Illinois State, Eastern Illinois, Miami of Ohio and Ball State.
