1. Loyola Academy (1) (4-0) MVP so far this season? Senior QB Tommy Herion.

2. Glenbard West (2) (4-0)- The Hilltoppers get a win at home over DGN and now will host Lyons Township this Saturday.

3. Homewood-Flossmoor (3) (4-0)- The Vikings get a big road win last Friday at Lockport. QB Bryant Wright has been a big key to the H-F potent offense.

4. Palatine (4) (4-0)- The Pirates take care of New Trier and now will host Hoffman Estates (4-0) on Friday. QB Zach Oles for congress.

5. Brother Rice (5) (4-0)- The Crusaders put up a 42-0 first half lead on Montini and roll to the 42-7 win. Wow.

6. Lincoln-Way East (6) (3-1)- The Griffins overcome some early first half turnover issues to beat Bolingbrook at Bolingbrook.

7. Neuqua Valley (7) (4-0)- The Wildcats get a nice win over Wheaton South and senior LN Jon Rhattigan is another name to watch for Neuqua Valley in 2016.

8. Glenbard North (8) (3-1)- The Panthers get a nice road win at Thornton.

9. Mount Carmel (9) (3-1)- The Caravan get back to CCL Blue play this week hosting longtime rival St. Rita at Gately.

10. Prairie Ridge (10) (4-0)- The Wolves defense has allowed just under a touchdown over the past two weeks.

11. Hinsdale Central (12) (4-0)- The Red Devils will soon get a huge end of the regular season much needed test.

12. Fenwick (13) (4-0)- Biggest game in years this week for those Amazin' Friars as Loyola rambles into Triton College on Friday night.

13. Oak Park-River Forest (14) (4-0)- The Huskies, much like Hinsdale Central will get some serious end of the season challenges soon.

14. Marist (15) (3-1)- The Redhawks pitch a shutout over Marian Central Catholic and will now focus on hosting Marian Catholic this week.

15. Barrington (16) (4-0)- Big Mid Sub West opener this week at Fremd for the Broncos.

16. Stevenson (17) (3-1)- The Patriots get the running game going in beating Mundelein last Friday.

17. Batavia (19) (4-0)- Batavia will get to see one of the Upstate 8's best ground hugger offenses when the St. Charles East Saints host the Bulldogs.

18. Maine South (20) (2-2)- The Hawks get back to the streak (75 consecutive conference wins and counting) hosting Niles North on Friday.

19. Libertyville (21) (3-1)- The Wildcats will need to hit the road on Friday taking on the always tough Lake Forest Scouts.

20. Phillips (22) (3-1)- The Wildcats take care of The House (Westinghouse) and now will battle CVS at Gately.

21. Cary-Grove (23) (3-1)- One of the bigger games in Chicagoland this week as the Trojans host Huntley.

22. Bolingbrook (18) (2-2)- The Raiders need to get back on track immediately after losing to Lincoln-Way East last Friday. Beating Bradley at Bradley is no small task.

23. Lyons Townshp (25) (4-0)- The Lions get easily it's biggest test of the year Saturday on the shores of Lake Ellyn.

24. Naperville North (26) (4-0)-It gets real now for the Huskies who host Glenbard North.

25. Bradley (28) (4-0)- The Boilermakers get a nice win over Sandburg 42-20 and now host Bolingbrook as Bradley gets it's biggest test of the year on Friday.

26. Waubonsie Valley (11) (2-2) Two tough losses in back to back weeks for the Warriors. Not good.

27. Immaculate Conception (29) (4-0)- The Knights get a nice early Metro Sub Blue showdown this week hosting the St. Edward Green Wave.

28. Lemont (30) (4-0)- The Indians travels to Oak Forest to take on one of the Indians biggest South Suburban Blue rivals.

29. Oswego East (NR) (4-0)- Pretty hard to ignore the Wolves offense so far in 2016. The Wolves get two straight tough back to back tests starting this week at Plainfield North.

30. St. Charles East (NR) (4-0)- The Saints just hung in and took over momentum after a slow start in beating rival St. Charles North 28-21 last Friday. QB Zach Mitchell runs the East option game exceptionally well.
