2. Homewood-Flossmoor (2) (7-0)- The Vikings have been just cruising along for several weeks now without too many tests. Good thing or not so good thing?
3. Brother Rice (3) (7-0)- The Crusaders take on St. Rita at St. Rita this Friday.
4. Palatine (4) (7-0)- The Big One is this Friday in Barrington!
5. Lincoln-Way East (5) (6-1)- Can the Griffins beat Bradley in Bradley this Friday?
6. Neuqua Valley (6) (7-0)- Can the Wildcats get out of the DVC undefeated? Huge accomplishment if they can make it happen this week and next.
7. Hinsdale Central (9) (7-0)- Impressive road win last Friday over Lyons.
8. Prairie Ridge (8) (7-0)- The Wolves have a knack for scoring 60 plus points a week now.
9. Marist (11) (6-1)- Big ESCC conference title showdown hosting Benet Academy.
10. Lyons Township (7) (6-1)- The Lions need to bounce back quickly on the road this week at OPRF.
11. Barrington (12) (7-0)-The Big One is this Friday in Barrington. See you there.
12. Glenbard West (14) (5-2)- The Hilltoppers found some serious offense in beating OPRF on Saturday.
13. Naperville North (16) (6-1)- The Huskies have fared well in big games this season and yet another one awaits this week at Death Valley.
14. Stevenson (15) (6-1)- The Patriots have a chance to be a nice sleeper team in the 8A brackets.
15. Glenbard North (17) (5-2)- The Panthers are getting an All State senior from RB Vittorio Tricase.
16. Oak Park-River Forest (10) (6-1)- If the Huskies can get it's defense back in order the OPRF offense is more than capable of winning a lot more games this season.
17. Cary-Grove (18) (6-1)- The Trojans have also been putting up some serious points this season with FB Ty Pennington leading the way.
18. Bradley (19) (7-0)- The Boilermakers have beaten some big time programs this season, but can they beat another this week hosting LW East?
19. Fenwick (20) (6-1)- The Friars now have a chance to secure a high seed for the IHSA state playoffs.
20. Phillips (21) (6-1)- Next up? The potential CPL Teachers Strike sadly.
21. St. Charles East (22) (7-0)- The Saints put up 55 points in beating Larkin last Friday.
22. Oswego (23) (7-0)- The Panthers are also on a path to a high seed in the 8A IHSA state playoff field.
23. Immaculate Conception (24) (7-0)- The Knights are making it look easy these days. RB Jordan Rowelll and QB Luke Ricobene have been keys.
24. Batavia (25) (6-1) The Bulldogs have a few test left including this week hosting Larkin.
25. Lemont (26) (7-0)- The Indians have been able to win close games including last Friday's 30-28 win over TF South.
26. Benet Academy (28) (6-1)- The Redwings have a huge test on the road this week at Marist for the ESCC conference title game.
27. New Trier (NR) (5-2)- Snap the Maine South consecutive winning streak? Yeah they you definitely get ranked.
28. Crete-Monee (NR) (5-2)- The Warriors are also shaping up for a Class 6A state playoff run.
29. Rolling Meadows (30) (7-0)- The Mustangs defense has allowed just 44 points so far in 2016.
30. DeKalb (6-1) (NR)- The Barbs have a dangerous passing attack led by senior QB Derek Kyler and NIU commit WR Cole Tucker.
