EDGYTIM.com Preseason Chicagoland Top 30 poll

1. Loyola Academy (1) (0-0) The Ramblers will just reload in 2016.

2. Glenbard West (2) (0-0)- One of the top programs in Illinois over the past 5-6 years

3. Homewood-Flossmoor (3) (0-0)- Loaded. Again.

4. Glenbard North (4) (0-0) Tremendous young talent and speed here.

5. Lincoln-Way East (5) (0-0)- Merging of LW schools is a huge plus for East.

6. Mount Carmel (6) (0-0)- Still lots of talent for the Caravan.

7. Palatine (7) (0-0)- In Zach Oles they trust.

8. Brother Rice (8) (0-0)- One of several top ranked CCL Blue teams.

9. Phillips (9) (0-0)- repeat? It's very possible in 4A.

10. Marist (10) (0-0)- Redhawks have questions but they also have answers.

11. Montini Catholic (11) (0-0)- tradition never graduates.

12. Stevenson (12) (0-0)- gets the nod in the top heavy North Suburban 8.

13. Waubonsie Valley (13) (0-0)- the Warriors 2015 run was no fluke.

14. Prairie Ridge (14) (0-0)- Experienced and very physical.

15. Bolingbrook (15) (0-0)- don't sleep on the Raiders revised offense.

16. Hinsdale Central (16) (0-0)- Red Devils also just seem to reload.

17. Neuqua Valley (17) (0-0)- has quickly become an 8A power.

18. Cary-Grove (18) (0-0)- seems like Ty Pennington enters his 8th varsity season.

19. Nazareth Academy (19) (0-0)- 9 starters back on defense makes Tim Racki smile.

20. Oak Park-River Forest (20) (0-0)- still lots of talent at OPRF.

21. Batavia (21) (0-0)- new field turf in 2016 for the Bulldogs.

22. Maine South (22) (0-0)- The Hawks look to defend The Streak.

23. Libertyville (23) (0-0)- Wildcats will rely on it's O Line in 2016.

24. Barrington (24) (0-0)- The Broncos have several D1 names this fall.

25. Crete-Monee (25) (0-0)- shhh! Crete will be really good again.

26. Simeon (26) (0-0)- the Wolverines have an impact player in QB Jayson Jackson.

27. St. Charles North (27) (0-0)- lots of experience back fore the North Stars.

28. St. Rita (28) (0-0)- losing season don't last long at St. Rita.

29. St. Laurence (29) (0-0)- tons of impact players back for the Vikings

30. Lyons Township (30) (0-0)- QB Ben Bryant is the real deal.
