1. Sacred Heart Griffin (2-0) (1)- It's more about the huge offensive line, deep group of backs and it's power running game so far in 2016 for the Cyclones.

2. Prairie Ridge (2-0) (2)- Did the Wolves just play and win it's two toughest regular season games this season? It's a definite possibility.

3. Montini (1-1) (4)- The defending 6A state champs get a must win last week over Lake Zurich. Huge CCL Green opener at Fenwick on Friday.

4. Cary-Grove (1-1) (5)- The Trojans get it's act together and wallop McHenry last Friday.

5. Crete-Monee (1-1) (3)- Hung in with Brother Rice but ended up losing 49-32.

6. Lemont (2-0) (6)- The Indians have two wins over two quality non-conference opponents so far this season.

7. DeKalb (2-0) (9)- Air DeKalb presents match-up problems and are both QB Derek Kyler and WR Cole Tucker All State worthy this season?

8. Boylan (2-0) (NR)- Not so fast my friends...Boylan is back. Huge upset win 14-7 over Auburn last Friday.

9. St. Laurence (1-1) (8)-Tough loss to IC last Friday and the Vikings get another tough one this week in CCL White opener hosting Bishop McNamara.

10. Danville (2-0) (NR)- Shhh! The Vikings are coming...the Vikings are coming.
