1. Loyola Academy (7-0) (1)-The Ramblers now get the chance to send CCL Blue rival Providence Catholic to the IHSA playoff sidelines with a win on Saturday.

2. Homewood-Flossmoor (7-0) (2)- It's been really, really smooth sailing for the Vikings lately. Good thing or not so much?

3. Brother Rice (7-0) (3)- Can the Crusaders take care of a must-win St. Rita team at Rita?

4. Palatine (7-0) (4)-The Big One is here. Can the Pirates defense go toe to toe with the oversized Barrington offensive line?

5. Lincoln-Way East (6-1) (5)- Much like conference rival H-F the Griffins have also been on cruise control for awhile now. That ends on Friday at Bradley.

6. Neuqua Valley (7-0) (6)- Can the Wildcats go undefeated in DVC play? Magic 8 Ball says check back later.

7. Hinsdale Central (7-0) (8)- The Red Devils defense came to play against Lyons last Friday. Impressive showing for Hinsdale Central.

8. Marist (6-1) (10)- The ESCC conference title game on Friday at Marist against Benet.

9. Lyons Township (6-1) (7)- The Lions offense came to life in the second half against Hinsdale Central. Can they hit the road running (and passing) this week at OPRF?

10. Barrington (7-0) (NR)- Finally! Kids when it takes Barrington this long to crack my Top 10 in 8A? It's a loaded year in 8A.
