2015 results: 9-2 (6-1) Big Northern East. Richmond-Burton made the 2015 Class 4A state playoff field. The Rockets defeated St. Edward then lost to Rockford Lutheran in second round action.

Top Impact Player for Richmond-Burton in 2016? Senior OT/DT Dalton Wagner is one of the state's largest players as well as being one of the Midwest Top ranked Offensive Tackles in the Class of 2017.
Biggest Concern heading into 2016? How well can the Rockets fare in it's new conference home for 2016? Richmond-Burton along with fellow Big Northern East foes Marengo, Harvard and Burlington Central join up with Johnsburg and both Woodstock and Woodstock North in the newly formed Kiswaukee River conference this fall.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2016 Richmond-Burton Rockets? New conference or not the Rockets welcome back a ton of starters including the state's top offensive tackle recruit. The regular season schedule is a bit different and while RB will take on some bigger enrollment schools they will more than match up well in the new Kiswaukee River conference.
