"Butler was basically my leader form very early on," Oles said. "I decided that I was ready to end my recruiting process so I committed to Butler."

Oles, a two time All State quarterback for the Pirates and head coach Rick Splitt discussed why he pledged to the Butler Bulldogs.

"Butler is just a great fit for me. I have family who I'm very close to down in Indianapolis. I also love the campus and Butler also offers a great education. I just feel like Butler is the best overall fit for me and it feels great to make my decision. Butler is a great fit for me. From the football side I know they graduated one senior quarterback so I'm ready to go in and compete for a spot."

Did Oles consider any other schools?

"I looked into Dayton and a few other schools besides Butler. They all seemed like nice schools and good programs but in the end Butler just is a great fit for me."

Oles is also thrilled to have his recruiting process completed.

"I'm really happy to have my recruiting done. It can be frustrating because of all the time just waiting on schools and coaches to make a decision. I can just enjoy the rest of my senior year and look forward to playing at Butler next season."
