RB Davis has options

Belleville (Ill.) West senior running back recruit Kriston Davis (5-foot-10, 180 pounds) had a strong senior season and a school record setting season and career for the Maroons and head coach Cameron Pettus. Davis checks in and recaps his latest football recruiting news here.

"I have offers from Southeast Missouri State and Lindenwood (D2)," Davis said. "I also have a preferred walk on offer from SIU Carbondale. I've also been hearing from several new schools and I'm looking at setting up some official visits in January."

Davis, who ran for 1.311 yards in 2017 and posted a school career record of 2,947 rushing yards ran down a growing list of schools still interested in Davis.

"South Dakota has been really interested and they want me to make an official visit. Northern Iowa is also interested and both schools have been in school. The University of Indianapolis (D2) and Northwest Missouri State (D2) both have picked things up over the past month or so and they also want me to make an official visit."

David is also starting to make official visit plans.

"I'm planning to make official visits to South Dakota, Northern Iowa and Northwest Missouri State and I might also visit Indianapolis as well."

Davis is also planning to sign his eventual letter of Intent in February.

"I would love to sign early but I still need to get out and see some schools in person. A lot of the coaches said things could open up after the early signing day and some of the schools who have offered me an official visit could also end up offering me a scholarship so I'm just going to wait and see how it all goes."

Kriston Davis has scholarship offers from SEMO and Lindenwood.
