RB Nettles picks up 3rd offer
Romeoville (Ill.) senior running back recruit Jordan Nettles (5-foot-9, 180 pounds) added his third scholarship offer on Thursday from Northern Illinois after camping with the Huskies earlier in the day on Thursday. Get caught up with the speedy Jordan Nettles here.
"I camped at NIU today (Thursday) and they decided to offer me tonight," Nettles said. "I have offers now from Ball State, Southeast Missouri State and NIU."
Nettles talked about adding his latest offer from nearby Northern Illinois University.
"I'm excited about the NIU offer. I'm blessed to be able to have the option to go to a great school close to home. I like the coaches at NIU and they are very welcoming and friendly. My school has two Romeoville guys who played at NIU and who also made it to the NFL (Perez Ford and Cam Stingily). It's just a blessing and a humbling experience to get an offer from NIU."
So what's next for Nettles this summer?
"I've camped at Northwestern and now NIU. I'm going to go sown and visit Southeast Missouri State sometime later this summer. That's all I have planned for now. We started our team camp on Monday and I'm pretty focused on my team now."
Jordan Nettles has scholarship offers from Ball State, NIU and Southeast Missouri State.
