RB Valladay sets first visit

Chicago (Ill.) Brother Rice senior running back prospect Xazavian Valladay (6-foot-0, 190 pounds) just set his first official visit. Valladay talks about his season, his latest recruiting news and much more in this recruiting update.

"We got off to a slow start last Friday (a 45-14 win over Providence Catholic) but then got going for the win," Valladay said. "We are 5-0 and we have another big game this week against Mount Carmel. Mount Carmel is always a big rival for us."

Valladay recapped his latest recruiting news including setting up his first official visit.

"I'm waiting for now before I make a college choice. I need to get out and see some schools in person. I'm planning to go out to make an official visit to Wyoming on October 8th. I'm still in touch with Wyoming along with Western Illinois, Ball State, Central Michigan plus Eastern Illinois and Youngstown State."

Valladay is excited about his upcoming visit to Wyoming.

"Wyoming is a school that I've been wanting to see in person for a long time now. I'm really going to look at the whole environment at Wyoming. I want to see how well I can fit in with the team along with how well I can fit in at the school. I'm going with my Mom and my sisters so I'll have family with me as well."

Valladay is also excited about his remaining senior season.

"Everyone is playing hard and playing as a team. We have a great team chemistry and we are just focused on getting better each week."

Xazavian Valladay has scholarship offers from Wyoming and WIU.
