So what's next for Kirkendoll?
Chicago (Ill) Simeon junior two star ranked defensive back recruit Marquae Kirkendoll (6-foot-2, 171 pounds) is holding 11 scholarship offers so far this spring. So what's next for Kirkendoll and his recruiting heading into the summer? Kirkendoll checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news here.
"I have eleven offers now," Kirkendoll said. "We have about three weeks of school left so I'm just focused on getting ready for finals and also getting ready for camps and team camp this summer."
Kirkendoll also has a few upcoming college camps on his schedule.
"I'm heading to Lindenwood on June 1st for a camp. I'm also going to North Central College on June 7th for a satellite camp. Missouri, Wyoming and some other schools looking at me are planning to be at that camp. I'm sure I'll go to a few more camps this summer and I'm also looking to make some visits. A lot of coaches want to see me at camps this summer like Missouri, Western Michigan, Wyoming, Minnesota and Kentucky."
So which schools will Kirkendoll visit this summer?
"I'd like to get out to visit New Mexico this summer. I'm also looking at visiting Iowa State once again along with a few others like Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan."
Does Kirkendoll have a time frame yet for making his college decision?
"I'm in no hurry to decide anything yet. I'm just going to go to some camps and make some visits then look hard at everything."
Kirkendoll will also be heading back down to Florida in mid June with Boom Midwest.
"We have nationals on June 17th down in Florida at IMG."
