Spotlight: OT Austin Glazier

Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick junior offensive tackle prospect Austin Glazier (6-foot-6, 280 pounds) camped well this summer and Glazier is a definite name to watch heading into the upcoming 2016 IHSA football season. Get to know this latest prospect to watch here.

"Practices have been going good," Glazier said. "We wrapped up doubles and now we are in regular season prep mode. We start school this coming Monday so I'm trying to enjoy the last bit of summer that's still left."

Glazier spent this past summer taking part in various college camps.

"I was able to camp this summer at Northwestern, Vanderbilt, the College of DuPage camp with Indiana plus Notre Dame and Western Michigan. I would say that my best overall camp was either the College of DuPage camp or the Western Michigan camp. I just felt comfortable at both of those camps and I thought that I performed pretty well."

Glazier also came away from his summer camp circuit with some real positives.

"The college camps really helped me a lot. I was able to learn a lot of new technique and I was able to work with some great line coaches. The college coaches also gave me some great feedback at each camp. Overall the college camp ended up being a great experience."

Glazier is also hoping to visit a few college games this fall.

"The coaches at Western Michigan and Vanderbilt said they will be sending more more information but they both invited me to come out this season to see a game."

Does Glazier have a dream school?

"I really loved Vanderbilt. Nashville is a great town and it's also SEC football with great academics. I'm still very open to any schools but I really was impressed with Vanderbilt."

Does Glazier set any type of personal goals heading into the season?

"My only personal goal was being able to get to 280 pounds and I reached that goal. My only real goal now is to focus on helping my team win games."
