TE Ivy adds his fourth offer
Chicago (Ill.) Marist junior three star ranked tight end recruit TJ Ivy (6-foot-5, 217 pounds) was able to add his fourth scholarship offer on Wednesday when Ball State expended him an offer. Ivy also recaps his weekend visit to Illinois and much more here.
"Ball State offered me today (Wednesday)," Maize said. "I also was able to go down to Illinois this past weekend for a basketball game and also to visit with the football coaches."
Ivy filled us in on adding his latest offer from the Ball State Cardinals.
"Ball State has been in school and they have been in touch with me for a little while now. I like the coaches at Ball State and they also play in the MAC which is a good conference. I haven't had a chance to visit Ball State yet but I've heard some good things about the school. I'm sure I'll get down to visit them sometime soon."
Ivy also made another unofficial visit to Illinois last Saturday.
"I headed down to Illinois for a visit along with a few of my teammates on Saturday. Illinois had a lot of seniors making official visitors but they still had about 10 underclassmen visiting as well. It was my second time visiting Illinois and it went well. They want me to stay in touch and they also seem pretty interested in me."
Ivy has also drawn more recruiting interest from a handful of new schools.
"I have been getting mail and some Twitter contact from schools like Arkansas, Notre Dame, Iowa, Iowa State and Penn State. Minnesota and Penn State made recent in school visits."
