Did you know...Andrew's two best seasons ever in school history came in 1991 and in 1997 as Andrew made it to the IHSA Class 6A state semifinal round. Both teams were coached by Hall of Fame head coach Mike O'Neill.

Top Impact Player for Andrew in 2017? The Thunderbolts will look towards NIU verbal commit senior DE Mike DeHaan (6-foot-6, 230 pounds) DeHaan is part of a strong senior class that gained valuable playing time in 2016.

Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Can the Thunderbolts fill some holes on the offensive line? While Andrew bring back starters on both sides of the football in 2017, only senior OL Austin O'Connor is the only starter back with experience.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 Andrew Thunderbolts? No question the 2018 1-8 record was a stunner for many including head coach Adam Lewandowski. Look for the team and the program to take strides forward in 2017 including having another year getting to know Lewandowski and his staff better compared to a season ago. The 2017 schedule also has some what I feel are winnable games for the Bolts here.
