Top Impact Player for Antioch in 2017? Senior QB Branden Gallimore. Gallimore (6-foot-1, 190 pounds) will again have a chance to utilize his skills this season in leading the Antioch offense. Gallimore, who is a strong runner in the Sequitos running offense also brings a big play pass threat to the table again in 2017.
Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Can the Sequoits reload on defense especially in the front seven? Antioch returns just one defensive linemen in junior Xavier Sanchez upfront while the linebackers all graduated from last season.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 Antioch Sequoits?
The Sequoits had a very strong 2016 and this program is looking for even bigger and better in 2017. Head coach Brian Glasghagel and staff will look towards an experienced offense along with a good underclassmen group hitting the varsity level this fall. While the state playoff road in 6A has a few obvious pitfalls in the northern part of the bracket (Prairie Ridge/Cary Grove) this could ben a team that has a chance to make some major noise in 2017.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for the Antioch Sequoits? 9-0/8-1
