2017 results: 9-1 (7-0) Northern Lake County Conference. Antioch made the Class 5A state playoff field. The Sequoits lost to Marian Central Catholic in opening round action.

Did you know...that Antioch head coach Brian Glashagel has posted an impressive 74=36 record in his 11 seasons leading the Sequoits football program? Antioch has also made the IHSA state football playoff field in 4 of the past 5 seasons.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2018 Antioch Sequoits? The Sequoits have a ton coming back from it's state playoff qualifying team in 2017..and that was before adding some serious weapons this past off season. With the addition of former Lake Zurich head coach Dave Proffitt onto the Sequoits staff, plus having one of the top signal callers in sophomore QB Athan Kaliakmanis plus talented sophomore WR Dino Kaliakmanis fall onto the Antioch doorsteps? A good again Antioch team just kicked things into a potentially higher gear for 2018.
Keep an Eye on: The Sequoits have some big time names to watch but none will have the overall talent level as former Carmel now Antioch QB Athan Kaliakmanis. Kaliakmanis, who already has a handful of Power 5 scholarship offers has all the tools to become a nationally sought after signal caller in the Class of 2021.
