Top Impact Player for Kankakee in 2017? Senior WR Jasuan Davis. Davis is the lone returning starter back from the Kays offensive skills group fro a season ago.
Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Can the Kays reload especially in the offensive skills group? Kankakee had a terrific 2016 season and also had a very strong senior group that will need to be replaced this summer.

Kankakee and head coach Omar Grant has done a nice job of getting the Kays back into the top tier of the Southland and back into the state playoffs. Kankakee will no question need to reload in what is shaping up to be a 3-4 team race for the remaining top spots in the Southland not named Crete-Monee.
