2017 Maroa Forsyth Trojans Summer Camp/7on7 plans
Host 7 on 7 tournaments at the end of the year 7 on 7 each Wednesday in July
Did you know...that head coach Josh Jostes has led the Trojans to state titles in 2006 (2A) and also in 2012 (1A) while also guiding the program to four runner up finishes?
Top Impact Player for Maroa Forsyth in 2017? Senior linebacker Spencer Hawbaker is one of seven starters back on the Trojans defense from a season ago. While the Trojans always find a way to score points and plenty of offense...the Maroa defense has a chance to be a big key this fall.
Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Can the Trojans replace some key graduation losses especially on the offensive side of the football? Can QB Ian Benner step in for graduated QB Tyler Ray and lead one of the state's most explosive offenses in 2017?
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 Maroa Forsyth Trojans?
Just getting out of the Sangamo conference and into the state playoff field is always a tough task for Maroa-Forsyth. Yet year in and year out the Trojans remain one of the state's top small school football programs and I don't see that changing anytime soon. With an experienced defense returning and still plenty left in the tank, I fully expect the Trojans to again be a threat for a deep state title run.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for Maroa Forsyth Trojans? 8-1/7-2
