Top Impact Player for Springfield High in 2017? Senior RB/DB Wendell Burnes, senior RB Peyton West plus senior WR/DB Cam Jones are experienced varsity players and will all be asked to provide leadership and be key contributors on both sides of the football.
Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Depth on the lines. The Senators have a ton of experience and talent back in 2017 especially in the offensive skills and defensive back seven. If Springfield can avoid the injury bug and develop a few key backups on the offensive and defensive line they could challenge for a state playoff spot.
