2017 St. Joe Ogden Spartans Summer Camp/7on7 plans

Will be joining Tolono Unity, Rochester, Oakwood, Tuscola for Wed 7-7 and Lineman Camps.

Attending Clifton Central 7-7/Lineman Challenge July 29

Did you know...St. Joe Ogden, along with former Okaw Valley conference members St. Thomas More, Monticello, Rantoul and Tolono Unity will join former Corn Belters Pontiac, IVC, Bloomington Central Catholic, Olympia and Prairie Central in the newly formed Illinois Prairie conference starting this season.

Top Impact Player for St. Joe Ogden in 2017? Both senior RB/LB Jason Bowman (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) and senior WR/DB Bryce Haake (6-foot-1, 170 pounds) will be asked to again provide leadership and production on both sides of the football in 2017.

Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Youth. The Spartans will have 8 seniors on the 2017 roster yet they also have a very good 2019 and 2020 groups that will be asked to step up in 2017. If the younger guys can come along St. Joe Ogden could be a dangerous team later in the regular season and post-season.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 St. Joe Ogden? Combine the limited experience back for 2017 along with merging into a new conference? The Spartans could struggle at times (especially with the middle portion of the regular season slate) yet this is a program that always finds a way.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for St. Joe Ogden? 6-3/5-4
