Did you know...that when St. Patrick makes the IHSA state playoff field they seems to come in pairs since the 2001 season. The Shamrocks have made the IHSA state playoff field in 2001 and 2002, 2004 and 2005, 2008 and 2009 and also in 2012 and 2013.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2018 St. Patrick Shamrocks? St. Patrick will have it's second season in 2018 under head coach Adam Guerra. The Shamrocks return a good amount of returning starters and a strong group of names to watch in both the 2019 and the 2020 class. If St. Patrick can fill some holes in a handful of key spots (QB and DL) this could be a team on the rise this coming season in the ESCC.
Keep an Eye on: St. Patrick has some college recruit names to pay attention to this season. Senior to be TE/DL Anthony Manaves has a handful of FCS and D2 attention plus WR Xavier Saldana, DB Gio Capifali and OL Jake Briskey. St. Pats also has some talented underclassmen names to watch in 2020 OL Joseph Fanning, 2020 OL Kwame Achampong plus 2020 ILB Vince Waters.
