Did you know...that Stevenson has made the IHSA state football playoff field for 29 consecutive years going back to 1989.
EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2018 Stevenson Patriots? The Patriots had an early exit in the 2017 state playoff field, a rarity for this Class 8A power program. Stevenson and head coach Josh Hjorth welcomes back a deep and much more experienced team this fall. Look for Stevenson to again challenge for the North Suburban Conference crown and a high seed in Class 8A.
Keep an Eye on: Stevenson always has talent and this season on the offensive side of the football senior OL Ivan Gleyzer will be a key anchoring the Patriots offensive line. Defensively? Senior OLB Maema Njongmeta has added several FBS and FCS offers this summer and Njongmeta has excellent speed and is also a high level athlete type for Stevenson.
