Did you know...Watseka co-ops with nearby St. Anne. Watseka's best finish in IHSA football playoff history came in 1974. The Warriors lost in e Class 2A quarterfinals. Also Watseka's head coach Aaron Hilgendorf had the Warriors in the state playoffs last season, his first season in charge of the program.

Top Impact Player for Watseka in 2017? Junior QB/S Brendan Fletcher (6-foot-2, 180 pounds) had a very solid season in 2016 and will be asked to again lead the Warriors offensive attack while also playing safety..

Biggest Concern heading into 2017? Overall depth. The Warriors have some key returning starters but can Watseka develop more depth? Could the new Co-Op with St. Anne provide that much needed depth?

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early Take on the 2017 Watseka Warriors? Warriors fans have to feel good about the experience back for 2017 including a strong core back on offense. Loom for the Warriors to again compete for the Sangamon Valley conference title in what will again be a 4-5 team race.

EDGYTIM's Way Too Early regular season record prediction for Watseka? 6-3/5-4
